Course Description:
Aromatherapy is gaining in popularity and is considered by many to be
one of the leading complementary healthcare modalities of the
twenty-first century. This program has been designed for massage and
bodywork practitioners, estheticians, spa practitioners, nurses,
reflexologists, and others interested in aromatic reflexology.
Discover the benefits of holistic
aromatherapy in this 40 hour foundations program which includes live
class sessions, home study time and case studies, all designed to
inspire and energize your applications of aromatherapy. This is a
certificate program and is approved by the National Association for
Holistic Aromatherapy Level One and the NCBTMB for continuing
education hours. Approval is pending for Estheticians from the NC
State Board of Cosmetic Arts Examiners.

Instructor Bio:
Jade
Shutes, BA, Dipl. AT - Jade Shutes holds a Diploma in Holistic
Aromatherapy, Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology, and
Reflexology from the Raworth College of Natural Medicine in Dorking,
UK, and a Diploma in Aromatherapy from the International Therapist
Examining board (ITEC). She has studied with Jan Kusmirek of
Fragrant Studies and has completed Part One of the Purdue University
Advanced Studies of Essential Oils. She is passionate about
aromatherapy and its ability to transform our relationship to
health, well-being, aromatic plants and the natural world.
