Course Description

**As presented at the AMTA National Conference in Phoenix Arizona, 2008

"The most amazing and consistently effective healing work that I have ever learned"    Dr. J. Mercola

ronNST is the fast track method available to professional health practitioners to learn one of the most effective and efficient methods of structural integration, based upon the work of famous Australian bodyworker, Thomas Bowen. Known for its ease of application, effectiveness and lowering of stress on the practitioner, NST provides resolution of many difficult situations both in acute to chronic situations. Clinically proven*, NST consistently provides reliable and sustainable results. The five day workshop provides skills to completely transform your practice using these new techniques.   * Across a 3 year trial at the Neuroscience department of the Associated Hospitals of Bergamot, Italy. Typical advantages of  using NST -Lighter in touch than most other forms of bodywork. -Able to work through light clothing. -No oil required, therefore less laundering. -Holistic approach to the body. Treating the cause, not the symptom. -Able to treat acute conditions. -Effective across a number of musculoskeletal, visceral and functional conditions. -e.g. Lower back pain, sciatica, neck, migraine, shoulder, knee, ankle, enuresis, menstrual conditions, colic and many more. -Less stress on the practitioner, thus extending working lifetime. Work smarter not harder. -Able to treat many conditions simultaneously and effectively in the one treatment. -Option to treat two or more clients at the same time.

Ron Phelan has been involved in the natural therapies industry since the early 90’s, trained in various remedial massage techniques and also MORA® bio-electronic feedback therapy. In 1996, Ron trained in the Bowen style of work and since 1998 has practiced NST in the Geelong, (Australia) region where Mr. Bowen worked for 27 years. Ron has been involved in researching the origins and experiencing the variations of the work through his contact with four of Mr. Bowen’s original students. In 2008, Ron released the "Practitioner Assessment Skills Course", the first manual devoted to practical assessment for structural body workers. Covering simple and effective assessment techniques, it incorporates a combination of biomechanical, kinesiological, hydrostatic, fascial and intuitive assessments in one book. Since 2001, he has been involved with teaching the NST technique in Australia, USA, Canada and England. His delivery style of presentation includes history, theory and practical application of the technique, set in an easy to follow manner.
